Southern Coconut Pie

I cannot claim this recipe as my own. It was gifted to me by one of my sweet readers in a Christmas card several years ago. From the first time I made it, I was hooked. It is an old southern recipe and I just know you’ll love it too.


  • 1/2 Stick Melted Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Evaporated Milk
  • 1 1/4 Cups Sugar
  • 1 Can Coconut Flakes
  • Pie Shell


  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Mix together melted butter, eggs, evaporated milk, sugar, and coconut flakes.
  3. Pour mixture into pie shell.
  4. Bake 10 minutes then turn oven down to 325 degrees. Bake 35 minutes.
